Details:

The Dolomites, without a doubt, are exceptionally beautiful; don't live your life without experiencing the magic of this amazing place.  Jack Kerouac was right--a life well lived is full of experiences, laughter, love, and challenge.  You feel your soul when you hike and stress fades away.

 

Ask anyone who has hiked in this area, and you will hear it is the most beautiful place they have ever been.  The route we follow takes us through some of the most interesting, historical, and visually spectacular areas of the UNESCO Heritage Dolomites.

PRICE INCLUDES:

The price per person of $3600.00 includes expert guide service, on-site trip organizer, daily luggage transfer except where indicated, transportation from Venice to Lago di Braies, four nights in hotels and four nights in refugios, rental gear (ice spikes and helmets), chairlifts to the Cinque Torri and Haunold, cable car backpack transport to Passo Falzarego, eight breakfasts, eight dinners. Pre-trip training guide, packing and gear guides.

 
NOT INCLUDED:

Lunches, extra food and snacks during the day, drinks, airfare, special transportation to Lago di Braies (apart from the included group transportation), transportation from our last night's stay (this can be arranged), special transportation during the hike if needed or wanted, travel/medical insurance, and evacuation insurance.

REQUIRED GEAR:

Hiking boots (no trail shoes), rain jacket, rain pants, headlamp, gloves or thick glove liners, hat (for sun and rain). Complete packing list is included upon registration and receipt of deposit.

Good to Know:
  • ​The Dolomites Trek is limited to 10 people and requires a minimum of 6 hikers to depart.
  • We will depart from Venice in the late morning/early afternoon on the first day of the trek. You should secure a reservation for the night before; we can help with that.  Contact me using the form below for more information.

  • Transportation from San Candido/Cortina on the last day of the hike can be arranged at an additional cost. 

  • Last day to signup and/or pay in full depends on dates reserved.

  • Last day to cancel with a full refund depends on dates reserved.

  • A deposit of $500 is due at signup; monthly, no interest payment plans are available.

  • TerraTreks accepts payment by check or bank transfer.

  • Travel/Travel Medical Insurance is highly recommended.  See links under the Travel Insurance page.

  • The liability release must be signed and uploaded prior to the trip.

  • Price is for double occupancy, typically two twin beds or one double bed where available. Some huts have triple or quad rooms. 

  • The TerraTreks portion of the trip is fully refundable if we cancel the trip. Airfare and other expenses not included in our trip price are excluded.
